A Bridgehampton Farmhouse Finds Its Contemporary Summer Rhythm

Dunnam Zerbini Design recasts a Victorian farmhouse as a refined Hamptons retreat for modern family life. Working with architect Frank Greenwald, the studio preserves the home’s shingle-style character while opening its interiors to light, movement and art. Porcelain floors, pale plaster, handwoven leather and graphic contemporary works create a calm, tactile language. Designed for sand, gatherings and slow summer days, the house balances durability with quiet drama, proving that heritage can feel entirely present.
