Reina puts community at the heart of urban living

Toronto’s Reina condominium offers a different perspective on residential design, shaped by an all-women team and conversations with the people who would inhabit it. Designed by Heather Rolleston of BDP Quadrangle, the building responds to everyday realities with intergenerational homes, generous stroller storage, shared resources and play areas visible from the gym. These seemingly simple decisions reflect a broader philosophy of designing from the inside out. The result prioritises connection, flexibility and daily life, demonstrating how thoughtful architecture can create community without compromising beauty.
