When you choose your booking engine, make sure the connectivity is compatible with your PMS. This connectivity will greatly facilitate the management of your reservations.
This will allow your PMS to communicate room availability with your booking engine and retrieve reservations made on your site directly into your PMS.
Everything is therefore managed directly on the software that the hotel's team knows and this allows the different marketing channels to be left open until the last available room, without the risk of overbooking.
